I believe that there exists a fortuitous encounter between a photographer and a scene. For me, photography serves as a tool for mindful observation. The act of walking around with a camera with no idea of what I may encounter is an opportunity I embrace. Coming across these scenes of everyday life, I feel beckoned to pause, observe, and celebrate them. By photographing these fleeting moments, what was a serendipitous encounter may be rescued from the brink of oblivion. These captured fragments of time invite my contemplation and offer me a connection between the mundane and the profound.
